We opened our doors on 01 September 2009.  The principal is SANDILE THOKOZANI MABASO, an admitted attorney who has more than 12 years experience in the field of law, specializing particularly in Labour Law.  Qualifications:  SANDILE holds an Advanced Labour Law Diploma from the University of Johannesburg, a Commercial Law Certificate presented by the Irish Law Society and a B.Proc Degree from Vista University. He also obtained a Certificate in leadership from the Leadership Academy.  Work history.  He was employed by the Legal Aid Board in Johannesburg as a Civil/Criminal and Labour Attorney for 9 years during which time he dealt with all aspects of Labour Law, including drafting, preparing opinions and appearing at Bargaining Councils, the CCMA, Labour Courts and Labour Appeal Courts.  He also dealt with and assisted Labour Law clients who were indigent from Limpopo, the Free State, Mpumalanga and Gauteng Provinces.

Whilst in the employ of the Legal Aid Board, one of his duties was to conduct training sessions in Labour Law for the Legal Aid Board’s Attorneys and he also had the responsibility of supervising some of the Candidate Attorneys.

SANDILE served as a member of the National Legal Aid Board’s Employment Equity and Skills Development Committee.

Kgwadi Frans Mphepya obtained his LLB at the University of the North and a Commercial Law Certificate and Advanced Certificate in Commercial Law with BLA Education Centre. He served his articles with the Legal Aid Board of South Africa and was appointed as a Professional Assistant with them specializing in labour law. He joined our company in 2012

Gugulethu Mthalane completed her LLB at the University of the Witwatersrand. She served her articles at Mkhabela HUntley Adekeye Incorporated ("MHA") and was appointed as an Associate after completion of her articles in the Employment Law Department. During the time she spent at MHA, Gugu gained vast experience in Employment Law. In June 2010 Gugu joined Cowan-Harper Attorneys as an Associate in its Employment Law Department. Gugu left Cowan Harper Attorneys in December 2011 whereafter she joined us in January 2012.
